Nadine Taylor, CPT, Founder/ Co-Owner
Nadine is certified through the NCPT, she received her Comprehensive Certificate by Body Arts and Science International (BASI). In addition to her Pilates certifications she is also a licensed Buff Bones® instructor (a medically-endorsed system of movement for bone and joint health) and a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. Nadine participates in continuing education regularly and has weekly training sessions with one of her mentors Cecile Elias.
Nadine fell in love with Pilates the first time she stepped on a reformer; it has made such a difference in her life! From helping to relieve back pain due to scoliosis to strengthening her core in a way that she couldn’t find in any other fitness method, it has changed her daily movement. Nadine believes Pilates is a fantastic tool to help prevent or rebuild from an injury.
Nadine’s passion for Pilates is shown through her clear and effective instruction. She is known for her innovative approach and high energy in classes. To move better in life, you do Pilates!
Jennifer Day, CPT, Co-Owner
Jennifer is certified through the NCPT, she received her comprehensive classical certificate in Pilates from Peak Pilates training under Pamela Garcia and Clare Dunphy. Throughout her certification and years after she spent most days in Clare’s private home studio observing and learning. In those years Jennifer was able to develop a sharp eye for alignment and movement detail.
In addition to her classical training and workshops, Jennifer has also trained under a Physical Therapist which has helped her work with an even wider client base from those recovering from injuries to athletes. In this setting Jennifer created a “Back to Health” Pilates mat program for the injured population. She further went on to create a Pilates Mat training program for future Pilates Instructors in the realm of a Physical Therapy office.
Jennifer loves working with all levels of athletes, from the adult beginner to the retired. There is a place for every athlete in this movement system, when you train with DP you move better!
